The Nissan Ariya concept car was introduced to the world in 2019 at the Tokyo Motor Show. It was later confirmed that the model would soon make its way to showrooms across the globe. After some delay, the electric crossover has finally made its public debut during a gorgeous drive around the Circuit de Monaco in the French Riviera.
“Ariya’s public driving in the streets of Monaco is a great way to witness the capabilities of our e-4ORCE technology. Ariya is the epitome of Nissan’s innovation in electric mobility and this event marks a defining moment in the next chapter of Nissan’s EV journey,” said Arnaud Charpentier, Region Vice President, Product Strategy and Pricing at Nissan AMIEO.
Nissan’s e-4ORCE is a new all-wheel control technology that provides instant torque to all four wheels to deliver balanced power in a variety of situations. The electric motor drive system was also unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019, using a Nissan LEAF e+ in a specially constructed test. But it’s especially exciting to see the tech in action on the Ariya in Monaco.
The all-new Nissan Ariya is expected to go on sale very soon. To learn more about this innovative new vehicle, contact our team at Nissan Downtown in Toronto.
