Meet the Practical, All-Electric Nissan Ariya

Nissan Ariya | Toronto, ON

Nissan is adding to its eco-friendly vehicle lineup. For the first time ever, the carmaker is introducing an all-electric crossover: the Nissan Ariya. Nissan recently announced this new eco-friendly ride, which offers a combination of innovation and comfort to make going green a breeze.

The Ariya will act as the first big milestone in the Nissan NEXT transformation initiative. This four-year plan looks to build on the brand’s reputation for innovation, customer-focus, craftsmanship, and quality.

With the Ariya, you will be able to get around Toronto with ease. This all-electric crossover boasts a range of up to 482 kilometres on a single charge, giving you powerful acceleration and a smooth ride. It comes available with a new e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system to help you tackle Canadian winters.

Inside this electric crossover, a lounge-like atmosphere dominates. Comfort is at the forefront, making the Ariya an ideal commuter vehicle. On the outside, its sophisticated silhouette is sure to turn heads. This vehicle also offers the latest in Nissan Intelligent Mobility® technology, helping you feel more confident behind the wheel.

Finally, the Nissan Ariya comes with an e-Pedal, which allows you to start, accelerate, and decelerate using only the acceleration pedal.

Nissan is releasing the Ariya in Japan in mid-2021. It will come to Canada later in the same year — including right here at Nissan Downtown in Toronto.

Nissan Canada’s Future Holds New Models and More

Nissan Canada future - Toronto, ON

Nissan Canada is looking to the future. In a time when the world seems like it’s on hold, the automaker’s plans include innovative ideas, a lineup full of new models, and more. Here’s just a taste of what you can expect in the coming years from Nissan.

Nissan is listening to feedback. Engineers at Nissan Canada are working hard to reinvigorate its vehicles, adding new design ideas and updated technology to existing models. The automaker is working to translate consumer feedback into big changes, giving Nissan the “freshest lineup of cars in the entire automotive industry.”

There are new models coming. Over the next year, multiple Nissan models will hit the market, including the all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue. The redesigned Rogue will feature new trims, including a rugged, adventurous option and a sporty variant. Nissan will also introduce a new Pathfinder SUV.

Think performance. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, Nissan engineers are hoping that more performance-oriented models like the Nissan GT-R and Sentra SE-R will return. “Everyone within my team would like to see the SE-R return,” said Nissan’s Taosif Alam. “There is a potential for it with rivals like Civic Si, Golf GTI, and Veloster N, so who knows?”

Even as Nissan Canada plans for a bright future, its present vehicles are pretty great, too — and you can check them out here at Nissan Downtown in Toronto.
