Having a reliable, safe vehicle for your family takes some of the stress out of everyday life. The Nissan Maxima® was named one of the Best Large Cars for Families in 2021 by U.S. News for its outstanding safety ratings, sporty exterior, and easy-to-use infotainment system.

The 2021 Maxima® received a perfect five-star rating from the NHTSA as well as the coveted Top Safety Pick+ designation from the IIHS. In addition to being great for families, the Maxima® was also dubbed one of the Best Cars for Young Drivers in 2021 by U.S. News. 2021 Sentra Receives Stellar Ratings in Child Seat Test

2021 Sentra Receives Stellar Ratings in Child Seat Test | Toronto, ON

The 2021 Nissan Sentra is a great option for a young family in the city. With its small size and affordable price, you won’t believe just how much you get with this sedan. To make it even more appealing, the 2021 Sentra received straight A’s in the 2021 Car Seat Fit Report Card.

What made the Sentra so appealing during this test was how roomy its interior is. With 34.7 inches of rear legroom, five different types of child car seats fit easily in the sedan. This included Latch, Infant, Rear-Facing Convertible, Forward-Facing Convertible, and Booster seat types. Even with the largest seat in the back, front-seat room was not affected and gave both the driver and passenger plenty of space to stretch out.

But for Nissan, it wasn’t just about receiving the high ratings from; the company is focused on bringing a larger concern into the spotlight. “What serves as icing on the cake is that the other three vehicles called out by Honor Roll are larger vehicles,” said Jared Haslam, vice president of Product and Services Planning at Nissan U.S. and Canada. “Not all car seats fit in all vehicles and choosing the appropriate child restraint system can be confusing. We appreciate bringing attention to this important issue.”

Starting at just $19,198, the 2021 Nissan Sentra offers a long list of standard features to make your daily drives simpler. To learn more about this sedan, or to take one for a test drive, contact our team at Nissan Downtown in Toronto, Ontario.

The All-New 2022 Pathfinder Maximizes Utility

The All-New 2022 Pathfinder Maximizes Utility | Toronto, ON

As one of the largest models in the Nissan lineup, the Pathfinder is often regarded as an off-road giant in the SUV segment. More rugged than its larger Armada sibling, the all-new 2022 Pathfinder arrives with even more utility than ever before.

“We closely analyzed every angle to make this vehicle as versatile as possible, while also delivering on rugged capability,” said Jared Haslam, vice president of Product and Services Planning at Nissan U.S. and Canada. “Our goal was to turn Pathfinder into a multi-tool on wheels — making this the go-to SUV for hard-working, adventurous families.”

Thanks to smart design changes, the new Pathfinder’s overall size remains mostly the same while maximizing its interior space to 164.6 cubic feet of total volume. Because of this increase, the Pathfinder can now accommodate two car seats in its third row for the first time. There’s also easier entry to that third row with EZ FLEX® one-touch seating.

The front row also benefits from the Pathfinder’s larger interior. Front seat legroom grows to a best-in-class 44.3 inches. Updates were also made to the center console, which has an ergonomic shifter for extra comfort as well as two storage areas: a standard console and a pass-through area below that, which adds 13.4 litres of storage space.

This is just the beginning of what you can expect to see on the versatile 2022 Pathfinder. To truly experience it for yourself, visit us at Nissan Downtown in Toronto, Ontario.

The 2021 Nissan Rogue, 2021 Nissan Maxima, and 2021 Nissan Altima all earned the IIHS’s highest possible safety score of TOP SAFETY PICK+. The 2021 Nissan Sentra earned a TOP SAFETY PICK recognition when it’s equipped with certain headlights.
